This week was VBS. The girl holding Lilly is Alle.
Alle was Lilly's teacher this week. The ironic thing
is that I started baby-sitting Alle and her younger
sister when she was Lilly's age, and kept them until
all through high school.
Emma has learned how to swim this summer.
This is his first jump off the diving board without
floaties!!!
Lilly has learned to peddle a bike this week.
She really is doing well with it.
Lilly, Karlee, and Emma on the boat
Lori took Emma and Khloe and let her
international students read to them. The girls
had a great time.
Since I can't ride the tube this summer, Aunt
Bobba took over and let the girls ride with her.

"I Aint Gonna Paint No More"

This week my sister and I got the girls together and
Lori read them this book. In the book, the little
boy paints their house and gets in trouble. His mother
puts the paints away. He gets the paints back out and
paints himself. After Lori read them the book, we let
them paint themselves. The girls got so into it-and had a
blast!!!

Proud to be an American!!!

I am re-entering the world of blogging, one, because my internet is finally fixed, and two, because Maela will be here soon, and I know that I'll be posting then. July 4th is one of my favorite holidays. I think that the reason I love it so much, is because it is a relaxed, fun, family-oriented day that stands for something so amazing-freedom!!! I only have a few pics, and one I really wish that I had was of Lori singing and doing motions on the boat to Lee Greenwood's, Proud to be an American. Oh well.
