Thanks to Charity, here are seven random facts about myself:
1. My husband, James, and I met while working at a restaurant, where we still LOVE to still eat.
2. James and I debated for months what to name our first daughter, he won!!! Khloe Elizabeth - I picked the spelling and middle name. (He got the name from a Dave Matthews song)
3. Our two oldest daughters have opposite initials, planned that way, of course. Khloe Elizabeth and Emma Kathryn.
4. I am one of three girls, my mother is one of three girls, my oldest sister has three girls, and I have three girls. Lots of estrogen around here,
5. There are several foods that I DESPISED as a child, but LOVE as an adult: tomatoes, catfish, pork roast, and sweet potatoes. I DO NOT like steak!!!!!
6. I am known to fall-alot. The bad part is several times it has been going UP the stairs. Two of my falls have sent me to the doctor.
7. We live on the same land as my older sister and her family and my parents, with room for my younger sister one day. WE LOVE IT!!! I have a wonderful family!!!!
I don't know who else to tag, because I'm not sure anyone that blogs, really reads my blog besides Lori and Charity.

A Weekend Getaway
This past weekend, James and I took our first
trip by ourselves-EVER!!! We had an amazing
time. We stayed in Gatlinburg, in a quite little
cottage, and enjoyed a relaxing weekend of
walking around Gatlinburg, shopping, eating,
laughing, and just being together. It was much
needed and a wonderful time together. Thank you
Mimi, Dada, Mrs. Jody, Memaw, Pepaw for taking
such good care of our girls!!!!
This was the gorgeous view from the tram. It
was breath-taking. We picked the perfect
weekend to go.
Our first night in Gatlinburg, we ate at Bubba
Gump's. Eating at Bubba Gumps is always a
fun experience!!!
This picture is from the tram ride to Ober
Gatlinburg. While we were at Ober Gatlinburg,
we raced on the Alpine Slide, something I have
wanted to do since I was a child.
This picture was from in front of the trolley stop.
Old Timey Photos-a must on a trip
to Gatlinburg!!
The Sky Lift-another must to do in
Gatlinburg!!!!!

Libby Lu
Last Saturday, my mom and I took the girls to
Huntsville to go to Libby Lu's, to celebrate report
cards (Khloe had all A+s and Emma all S's) We
are so proud of them. We go to Huntsville around
lunch time, shopped a little while, ate lunch, and
then headed to Libby Lu's. The lady there told me
that they couldn't do the make-overs for an hour,
so we killed some time on this cool jumpy thing and
at the disney store. Thanks mom for joining us, we
had a great time together.

Sisters Weekend: Take 2
This weekend marked the second annual sisters trip for us. Last year, we went to New York, so this year we just went to Nashville for the night. It was a much needed break. We went to the melting pot for dinner and then walked around downtown Nashville on Friday night. Saturday morning we woke up at 6:00am, none of us could sleep, and went shopping at Opry Mills and Cool Springs. We finished the day with another Starbucks. It was a wonderful weekend, with wonderful memories made. Lots of inside jokes, with me favorite being, "Oh my Gosh!!!!!" Love ya girls, and can't wait until next year. Look out Chicago, here we come!
Fun times. Our trips are known for taking
funny pictures. This is only one that is able to
be blogged.
We had an amazing dinner at the melting pot.
We enjoyed listening to some 80's music after
dinner.
Starbucks is our tradition. Thanks 2 this cup of
coffee, we didn't sleep very much Friday night.
We had a great time shopping at Opry Mills.

BIRTHDAY BASH x5
This weekend was one more party for the Hendrix clan. We celebrated five birthdays from Friday at 4:00 to Sunday at 2:00. We partied til we dropped. This weekend will always be a crazy party weekend for us. Three of my best friends children are born September 22, 23, and 25th, and another family friend also on the 25th. So, our schedule for the weekend was: Emma's classmate, Andrew's party was Friday at 4:00 at Spring Park. It was a circus theme and a ton of fun. Saturday started early with Hampton's 8:15 soccer game, in which he scored his first goal. Way to go Buddy!!! So glad I was there to see you. Collins 3rd birthday party was at 11:00, and was a princess/horse party. The girls had a ball. We went straight from that party to Nadia's first birthday party at chuck e cheese. Left that party at 2:00, and went back to chuck e cheese at 4:00 for Landon's 2nd Birthday party. The girls had a very entertaining day, and handled the craziness very well, but by 7:00, they were sound asleep. Sunday morning, we went to church, and then had Tate's 1st Birthday Party. He is so precious. I am so blessed with wonderful friends, and it was such a honor to be a part of all of the Birthday Celebrations. (By the way, the pictures start with Sunday and go backwards through the parties.)

Tate was such a trooper to wear his Birthday
hat. I guess he realized as long as he was
eating cake, he didn't care what his momma put
on his head.
My sweet Landon. Your love of live is such a
Joy to watch. I will always be your An-dre!
Lilly and Mollie riding the school bus at Landon's
Party.
Charity and I. What would I do without this
sweet friend.
Khloe, Emma, Lilly, and Nadia. You can hardly
see Emma, but when I asked her the best part
about Nadia's party she said "holding baby Nadia."
The proud momma and daddy. There aren't
two other people in the world that deserve this
precious gift than Donna and Jud.
Kate and Lilly at Nadia's party. These two
cousins are going to give Lori and I a run for
our money.

had the time of her life!!!

7 years 7 months 9 days of.....

Diapers are OVER!!!!!! Praise the Lord. Lilly is finally potty trained. I can't believe that I have been changing at least one of our girls diapers for that long. That also translates to 2,774 days of diaper changing, but who's counting? Lilly has done awesome. Once she decided she was ready, she has only had a couple of accidents. A huge thanks to our Mrs. Jody, Lilly's baby-sitter, who helped so much in the process.

Fun Friday
Last Friday, Khloe and Emma had a spend the night Birthday Party, and James was officiating a high school Football game, so Lilly and I had a date night. We were joined on our date with Mimi and Dada. What fun!! We went to dinner at Legends and then walked across the street for a carriage ride. It was a blast. The horse, Bob, was fascinating to Lilly, but she sure didn't want to pet him. Thank you Mom and Dad for a Fun Friday.

A "FABULOUS" Trip
Last year, I began an annual girls beach trip in September. When I say girls, I mean girls. SEVEN to be exact. My friend, Ashley, and her daughters, Abigail and Mollie, along with myself and three girls headed to Orange Beach for a long weekend. We were a site-everywhere we went, we got looks and comments. I'm sure that we looked hilarious-add to the 7 of us, two gigantic beach bags, 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, beach toys, and a cooler, and we were a walking circus. The girls did "fabulous!" I quote this because, for those of you who aren't surrounded by little girls, High School Musical 2 came out a few weeks ago, and there is a song from it called "Fabulous." This became kind of our theme song for the weekend. Our first day and a half was cloudy and rainy, but it was followed by a day and a half of beautiful weather. We ate at the Crab Trap, a first for my family, Lulus, a favorite for us all, swam, laughed, and had a wonderful time together. I must say that this weekend has become one of my favorite of the year. To sum it all us, We had a "fabulous" trip!!!
What a lot of stuff 7 girls bring to the beach!!!
Khloe lost her VERY loose tooth the first night
we got to the condo. The tooth fairy does come
to Orange Beach if anyone was wondering.
Finally some sunny weather. It rained the
entire first day we were there. We made the
best of it though, and hit the outlets.
Two sweet little girls.
Emma and Abigail had matching swimsuits this
summer. They thought this was pretty cool.
Lilly loved to listen to Ashley's ipod
Khloe, Emma, and Lilly playing together in the
pool. What Sweet Sisters!!
I Love this picture of Emma. Not a care in the
world.
Lilly and Mollie playing in the pool.
The mommas did have a few minutes for some
R & R!
The "Fabulous" 7: Notice that the girls all have
coordinating flip flip outfits. They looked too cute.
Emma and I enjoying a dance at Lulu's!! Emma
said we were dancing like no one was watching.
Khloe and I at LuLu's!!
